It doesn't look like something from star wars. That's for sure.
Six years in the future brought me back to this video!
Doug. That wasnt cocaine...
Toyota did make improvements in this new Sienna over the previous model. But I think Toyota did not do enough especially in the area of the quality of materials used for the interior, the area of tech and features as well. In other markets, Toyota sells the Alphard/Lexus LM. Those two have much luxurious interior materials, tech and features.
I did not know Lamborghini shared its exterior door handles with AMC in the 70's and 80's :D
I’m sure someone has said it, but the buttons that move the front seats forward, are to make it easier for the rear passengers to get into the van.
There is an urban legend about the Volga! From Wikipedia: Black Volga refers to an urban legend widespread in Poland, Hungary, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Greece and Mongolia, mainly in the 1960s and 1970s. The legend refers to a black GAZ-21 or GAZ-24 that was allegedly used to abduct people, especially children.
New Rover, same problems... Glad things never change with Land Rover..
Drop the external cosmetic aspects and replace some components with a lighter alternative would have been more appealing - a bit of sleeper car on the outside.
He forgot he already reviewed this lmaooo
When is that s2000 coming😭😭
Here because of the NEW Jalpa video. I remember a big time drug dealer in the projects near my home, had one just like this. Yep, I said "in the projects". Lol
Sounds like a 1940s mafia horn
My mom had that car a 1987, it was sweet and would haul butt with that v6
BRUH chincy looking digital clock? Thats a DIGITAL Jaeger Le Coultre, shit's super weird and rare!
That’s a heck of an engine doing 2000RPM without even being on
The indicator stalks came from British Leyland....same as those used in my grandad's Morris Marina 🤠
Isn't that "fan" light to the left the hazard lights?
the forward-facing handle makes sense if you grab it with your left hand across your body so that after opening the door you are facing the right way and don't have an arm in front of you
My friend has one of these, albeit a slightly earlier model. You do NOT want to be in the back "seats" of this thing for any amount of time.
You sweating Doug? How about you wear just ONE t-shirt?!
Coming back here after the new review
I've had the Italian car experience. Glad I did. Now I'm glad I own air & water cooled 911's.
"old exotic" means nothing, my 1973 Lancia Fulvia Montecarlo has 4 disc brakes, the pedal is heavy but if u push it hard stops really well
Why is the allocation not signed when there are signature lines above the names? Weird
Without italian cars probably Doug DeMuro wouldn't exist...
Does this clown do any research before his quirks and features, or does he just make fun of what was normal for the era? i.e., manual reverse lockout, horn, etc etc etc
Lmao those are the climate vents of fiats
Rocky IV Lambo
As someone who has ordered one of these, I hope I made the right choice.
Lamborghini was a tractor company
Man, Lamborghini's styling in the 80's was on point.
This is why l dig Doug
My parents had an '87 Maxima with a manual transmission. I would take it out on Friday nights as a 17 year old and race it against other cars--it pretty much beat everything out there. People were constantly shocked at how fast it was.
my 2017 Ridgeline E has Apple Car play.
This is one of the most interesting cars I've seen on this channel, great video
Given Lamborghini's penchant for naming cars after Spanish bull terms, Jalpa should probably be pronounced something more like "Halpa" in English.
reminds me of a beluga whale
What Car He mention " Pantera"? What is this Car ? 19:11
Idk 🤷♂️ guess I’m weird, I open the door with my left hand 🤚 (even though I’m right handed). But I also brush 🪥 & shave 🪒 left handed ! But I write ✍️ & throw right handed always.
Finally does the Maxima! Been waiting for years, Doug!
Only OG's remember the original Jalpa review Doug did
there even today is no equel to it. because not 1 Car is made of the Actualy F1 components. he was. 100% all materials they used in F1 back then. thats how u create a fast car. nvm hybrid, its all about materials used. or why they did comperison with a Veyron, that car is 20years older. basicly an Youngtimer, and its as sporty as any car from today.
Car desperately needs paint correction done c'mon owner wyd
🇮🇹Da italiano ne vado fiero 🇮🇹
Why the hell not just put some new tires on there. Pretty basic. Not expensive. Must be very dangerous to have such old tires.
like the van shirt
It looks way better than the Ferrari 308, It is very beautiful
Wh"ats"App"me Plus one"nine_zero"three"three"seven"eight"six"seven"two"nine Let's"talk"more
Goober level is getting so off the charts, we have to create new charts!
It makes most sense to use your left hand on the right door and vice versa.
I guess it is De tomaso pantera untill title read
Awful car. Lambo took the Silhouette and made it shit, inside and out.
Doug the type of guy to choose an ergonomic disaster over using his left hand.
Never heard of this lambo, but damn it's a beautiful one. Old school lambos are just wonderful.
By far the most funny Doug video 😂
PLZ REVIEW AN SLK55
An 1988 sowjet car ist not up to then western standards? Shocking observation. Honestly i cant really understand his highground - of course the car was no Audi Quatto! But it was never intended to be, it was easy to repair, for sowjet standards insanely powerfull adequate car coming from an union with immense problems in every area, and about to collapse. Seen from this perspective i dont find anything to smirk about.
Who else thought Doug reviewed this already
Financing my cars is probably what I would have to do to buy any sort of car i want. Looking at cars such a the 8-series, and which costs like 115K-€ base, which I’ll probably never be able to afford and maintain realistically.
Doug hits the gas and creams his shorts, again.
Loving the bloopers after the videos lately
Please make a video of a C4 Corvette.. Preferably one between the years of 1990-1996..
Used to work at a Polaris dealership and this is the worst car I've ever driven and for the price, you can get something 100x better for cheaper
I heard about those cars back in the 80's off car magazines.
So quirky it had to be DeMuro'd twice. When are you doing the Tesla Plaid?
My parents owned a CX (only with a "regular" engine) for 18 years ! I was a small kid but for some reason, i noticed my dad often didn't use the clutch while shifting gears, and he had to explain to a 8 year old kid how he could do that 😁 The soft suspensions and the smell from the velvet seats made me puke a few times and i kinda hated it lol, but i wish my parents still had it somewhere, that was a very, very smooth ride and it had that kind of atmosphere you can't get in another car 🙂
Doug has the dream job
I think it is beautiful. Saw one of these, in São Paulo Auto Show when I was a teenager, exact same color. www.jalpa.ch/History/
19,000 miles - 12,000 of which have been cruising along freeways. Thats about the easiest 19k you will ever see.
What about performance?
Its alarming weird to see that the last video of doug hitting 1 million views is the mclaren speedtail and its 15 videos ago
Believe it was known as the Nissan Bluebird here in the UK
I think paying with Cash is better for low amount cars, such as below 15k. But beyond that, of course if you can get really good interest rates you're better off invessting
What a sweet example!
Didn't Doug make a video about the Jalpa already?-
If you think about it, the way a person walks up to a car and grabs the door handle to get in, it should be “left handed,” unless I’m just thinking that because I’m left handed. The other way seems weird
Door handle jolts serve as bumpers to protect the door edges from scratching.
